We honestly do not know what we would have done without Melissa's guidance, experience, and support during the process of buying our home. We were from out of state, and had a limited opportunity to find and make an offer on a home.  We were moving halfway across the country and we needed an expert.  We had dealt with several agents via the internet but Melissa stood out above the rest. Maybe it was her tolerance since we had a million and one questions, which she answered all, to say the least.  Plus a handful of must-haves.

After having the opportunity to view quite a few homes on the web, we decided to pay her a visit.  By the time we arrived,  she had 10 showings set up just for one day, with other showings throughout the couple of days we had available. With each home we viewed, I was so incredibly impressed by her knowledge of homes. She identified issues within the homes, or pointed out positive aspects. We truly felt like she was watching out for us the entire time. She knows the area so well, she knew what areas were family friendly and had good schools.

We fell in love with the last house on our schedule. (BTW she made us this binder, that I was so appreciative for. It consisted of several pages starting with her introduction and her firms. Then a wheel of the buying experience and process. A map of the locations of the houses we were going to view, THEN each house individually on a page with room for notes. I LOVED IT)

That’s when we saw Melissa’s expertise shine through. She fought for us the entire time.  We were ready to move forward but obstacles occurred.  Our immediately lender fell thru, but have no fear, Melissa came thru once again. She recommended several other local lenders that would be able to help. Plus some other options which we were very happy to learn about. (Please contact her for this!!) Once again, another house sold, due to our lack of not making the quickest decision.

Once back home, we saw another great home via the web. Melissa agreed it was a great home with ALL of our must-haves. But we had to move fast OR this would sell just as quickly.  We couldn't go view this home physically, so Melissa offered to do a video walkthrough. What a great idea. I never thought about this. We were tickled pink. Melissa made all the arrangements to have this done. She called the day of the viewing, my husband and I did a video chat with her as she drove up through the community and to the home.  She walked through each and every room and answered any questions we had during her visit.  I was in love with this idea. Yayyy for video chat!!! 

We loved the house and everything about it.   Once our offer was accepted, she was able to make sure we were able to get the house inspected quickly.  She made sure keeping us in the loop during the inspection process. And again, I don’t know what we would have done without her.

She kept in constant contact with us the entire time, even though we were in a different state. She took care of us through any issues that came up with the purchase of our home. We constantly say that if it weren’t for Melissa, we don’t believe we would have pulled this all off.  A less experienced agent would have never been able to handle all the issues that came up. She protected us the entire time. And she dealt with issues, so we didn’t have to. She handled everything, and it reduced the stress that we were under.

But the service did not end with the closing of our home. She made sure to check on our house as we were out of state. Once we closed, she provided us with a list of resources in our area that were businesses we could rely on. We have used more than one service she recommended and we have not been disappointed. Melissa is well known in the area, and has a fantastic reputation.

I found Melissa on Face book from an ad she wrote about buying home and also renting homes with the option to buy. I sent her a message and she answered all of my questions. I told her we were not ready to buy just yet we had to save some money and fix our credit.
Every once in a while Mellisa would check in to see how everything was going and when we were ready to text her.
Well this September we were finally ready to start looking for a house. We had some set backs due to being approved for a morgage so we had to wait until January.
